Repairer of the Breach
Dear Abba,
Many believers concern themselves with the length of time it generally takes for answered prayer and the fulfillment of prophecy. I once complained that extended wait times were a waste. What I now know is that waiting is not wasteful and You are Sovereign over time. Today, I am more grateful for spiritual maturity, becoming humble, and patience than ever.
An answered prayer and prophecy coming to fruition demand our faith, works, Abba Yah's wisdom, and intentional growth. In other words, we must learn to completely surrender ourselves to the process of preparation. We must also write plans and visions, and lean into whatever credentials or schooling is necessary to show up and dominate in whatever field, interest, industry, or purpose we have grace to occupy. The outcome will not be by our efforts exclusively. It will be YHWH! However, everyone who has conquered anything or overcome something did so by going through the challenge or discomfort associated with development. Anyone can experience transformation if they choose.
For example, as a shepherd, King David killed a lion and a bear to protect the sheep before cutting off Goliath's head. King David was then faced with regulating his emotions and disrupting the pattern of behavior leading to ending a life when it came to a conflict with Nabal. Whether an issue is external or internal, it requires our innate or learned patterns and pathology to face it.
A Repairer of the Breach must self-examine and then assess patterns and pathology within his/her family. Patterns are repeated habits, mental frameworks, and tendencies expressed by feelings. Pathology is the study of mental illness. As it is in the spirit, it is in the natural. As it is in the brain and nervous system, it is in the entire body and all systems. We cannot compartmentalize. Everything works congruently, like a chain reaction, and cause and effect. Either one or many within a family must stand up against what sabotages the continuation of the lineage. To the one or many, repairing the breach means to effect change for healing, deliverance, discipleship, discipline, love, and unity for the family.
We either want to address people, or we want to let them ignore what is obviously discerned. Before we spring into action, we must have begun our own process of becoming. We must also have guidance from Ruach Hakodesh for next steps. Most of the action is warfare and intercession. Some conversations, as the Spirit leads make take place to shine light on certain issues. Be compassionate yet courageous. Remember where you began and speak truth in love. Be patient. We grow at different rates. Some people will reject the Ruach and you. Leave them to their journey. A Repairer of the Breach is a responsibility that must be handled with Yah's power and delegated authority. It's best not to think you know everything. Stay the course. Be encouraged.
In our recent blog (Who Dropped You?), we gave some pointers to begin the work.
Thank you for reading. I pray that you are blessed. You may buy me a coffee. $ReginaClaxton
