Representation Matters

 Dear Abba,

My hand in your hand enables me to continue this journey of faith! Ruach has led me through rough terrain over the course of three-plus months. I am forever grateful You are with me, You got me, and You are backing me. Trusting You is an adventure. I experience calm delight the more I shed my fears and concerns to allow myself to free fall into your loving arms. You are trustworthy! Thank you, Abba Yah.

All of us can attest to nail-biting difficulties. May we all experience intimacy with great measure with Abba and a boost in our resolve to trust in His love and goodness!

If we are honest, we know we can trust the Father with every care. The trust endeavor trips us when we do not know when and how He will show up for us. The details challenge us. It is a fight to resist wanting to know what Abba does not share with us. I decided this most recent round of circumstances that I would not bow to them and all my prayers are asked and answered. No details are required.

Without sharing particulars, I described some of how Abba and Ruach would show up for me. I want to discuss how we represent the Messiah to the world. Firstly, we must solidify our identity. We are spiritually reborn, new creations in Yahshuah Hammashiach. We are heirs of Abba Yah and joint heirs with Yahshuah. We are peculiar, holy, and Yah's possession.

As believing Image-bearers, we do what Yahshuah did when we show up in spaces, places, and to people of every status. Secondly, we exude the love of Yah. We allow Ruach to build compassion within us so we may serve those needing a demonstration of Abba Yah.

Sisters and brothers, if there ever was a time to arise and shine now is that time. We must arise and shine as Modern-day watchpersons through Prophetic Intercession and Intercessory prayer. Thirdly, Yahshuah shared a parable where He metaphorically used business transactions to represent the gifts, talents, and skill sets believers have. {See Luke 19:11-13)

From neighborhoods to nations, we must understand that Representation Matters. Fourth, there is no place or around any category of people we do not show up as ourselves! Be yourself in Christ, and share your story of redemption, healing, deliverance, breakthrough, and victory. Someone must know you are living proof that you survived and now thrive.

In conclusion, we have become comfortable in survival mode. We have nursed our pain, disappointment, and trauma for far too long. Let's be brave to confront ourselves. We need to get on our healing journeys and whatever wellness program to get out of the pits we are in as a collective.

The church has to come out of this weak state! We need fire on the altars consuming uncleanliness. We need our hearts ablaze with truth. We must put away idolatrous behavior and compromised intimacy with Abba Yah! We must get into position as His anointed ones. Creation is waiting for us. We must occupy with authority, Yah's power, and the will to see good works on earth.

Lastly, how you and I represent may differ in mode, and, delivery, however, the message is the same: Abba Yah loves all of humanity unconditionally and Yahshuah is mighty to save souls and strong to deliver them. Don't waste time and opportunities for representation. You matter and it is time you embrace it. Let's get busy and be blessed!

Shalom, Shalom
