It's A Beautiful Life
Dear Abba,
There is no path given to the believer to circumvent pain. There is one path through pain, grief, hardship, disappointment, and challenging circumstances. The path is named Through Street. It is inevitable for us to take hits to our emotions, mind, body, and relationships. Even attempts on our lives are included. We have one guarantee. The Most High is faithful through it all. We must learn to lean into His care and faithfulness toward us. Yes, we are troubled and stretched along the journey. However, our faith grows like a burgeoning muscle when we are intentional during the preparation and self-evaluation process. Since we need to reclaim our strength, the Bride of Christ needs to have purity, double oil, more power, and greater focus!
We receive the benefits of learning to trust in the ways and timing of The Most High. He will never betray our Emunah in Him. 5785/2025 has been tough for many. Some have marked the last ten years as painful. Evangelist Jekalyn Carr says, "The Lord is restoring to us for the last ten years." Everyone's hands should go up from that word of the Lord. Whether it is for you or not, rejoice with those who will rejoice! You look back over a period of time and can count the times Abba has spoken to you about your troubles. It may dissatisfy you that His words have been too few.
We believe that when Abba is silent, He is not at work. That is far from the truth. He is always watching. He is always doing what is best for us. He is being sovereign. It serves us well to know that there is a plan for success and a winning outcome after enduring the hard things. Our job is rest when necessary. We are to seek the Lord for healing and deliverance. We need His strength for discipline as He sets us free from bondage. We need His wisdom for the new ways and strategies to live and thrive.
I had to learn during my maturation process that there are lessons we need with each test of our faith. The lessons are for areas of opportunity. We can't live an abundant life if we refuse to grow. We can't sing about a great God we do not get to prove for ourselves. This walk of faith as ambassadors for the Kingdom of God is a beautiful life. The good, bad, hurtful, and ugly produce a beautiful story. You may feel embarrassed or confused by the experiences you are having. Trust, someone will need your story. Several years ago, I asked Ruach Ha'kodesh, "Why are you letting me be humiliated?" His reply, "What you call humiliation I call preparation." That was the moment layers and masks fell from my heart and soul. The Ruach took me on an immediate deep dive for healing and deliverance.
Self-inflicted bondage, environmental attachments, or learned behavior do not stand a chance when we allow the process for a beautiful life to come forward. Myles Munroe says it in this way, "The choice is ours. It is a matter of grooming our Kingdom mentality, of learning to think, talk, and act like royalty, we are rather than like the galley slaves the devil has told us we are (Munore, 2004)."
